Rostov Arena was built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Located on the Left Bank of the city

Many people know the Rostov embankment with its many restaurants and cafes. This is where all the city’s guests want to come to try Cossack dishes and take a boat ride.

On one of the most beautiful streets in the city center there is a monument to the great poet A.S. Pushkin. Meetings and appointments are still made here.

Soborny Lane is one of the first streets of the city; it appeared on the city plan around 1811. For some time it was called Donskoy Descent, since it had a direct exit from the market to the Don River. Then, after the construction of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the lane became Cathedral

At the southern entrance to Rostov-on-Don, in front of the Voroshilovsky Bridge, there is the Tachanka-Rostovchanka monument, in memory of the heroic events of the First Cavalry Army during the Civil War

While walking along the main street of the city, Bolshaya Sadovaya, be sure to stop near the monument to the Cossacks who founded the fortress of St. Dmitry of Rostov. The monument was opened in 2009 in the year of the 260th anniversary of Rostov-on-Don.

Rostov Zoo is one of the largest zoos in Russia, covering an area of 57 hectares. About 5 thousand animals of 400 species live here
